Rockstars Rec Team is a great opportunity for athletes who want to experience the excitement of being part of a team and competing, while maintaining a more flexible commitment than our competitive team programs.

This program is designed for gymnasts who enjoy performing, learning new skills, and working toward a common goal with their teammates. Athletes build confidence, teamwork, discipline, and performance skills in a fun and encouraging environment while gaining valuable experience in a competition setting.

Our Rockstars Rec Team is an invitation-based program for athletes who demonstrate the skills, focus, and desire to participate on a team. The program provides a supportive introduction to competitive gymnastics without the intensive training schedule and commitment required of our USAG competitive teams.

Rockstars Rec Team Levels 2–4

Rockstars Rec Team includes Levels 2–4, with athletes training at the level that best matches their current skills and development. Each level practices separately while following a program designed to help athletes build gymnastics skills, strength, flexibility, routines, and performance confidence.

All Rockstars Rec Team levels have the same training commitment, allowing athletes to experience the benefits of team gymnastics while maintaining a manageable schedule.

• Required training: 1.5 hours per week
• Competitions: 2–3 per season

A Team Experience Without the Full Commitment

Rockstars Rec Team gives athletes the opportunity to experience many of the things that make team gymnastics special—working toward a goal, performing alongside teammates, learning to handle the excitement of competition, and celebrating progress together.

For athletes who want to explore competitive gymnastics without committing to the training schedule of our USAG team, Rockstars can be a great fit. Athletes can build confidence and competition experience while continuing to enjoy gymnastics as part of a well-rounded schedule.

Most importantly, Rockstars is about creating an environment where athletes can challenge themselves, have fun, support one another, and discover how rewarding it can be to be part of a team.
